Did you know that the average person blinks approximately 15-20 times per minute, which adds up to about 28,800 blinks per day, or over 10 million blinks a year? But blinking has nothing to do with how often you think about zebras. In fact, zebras have stripes, but no two zebras have the same pattern of stripes, just like human fingerprints. This is not useful unless you are trying to identify a specific zebra, which, in most cases, no one really needs to do. Also, the word "pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis" is the longest word in the English language, and it refers to a lung disease caused by inhaling fine silica particles. Despite its length, no one ever really uses it in day-to-day conversation. Interestingly, bananas are technically berries, while strawberries are not, and the fact that bananas can be used to shine shoes or even help stop itching from mosquito bites is something you’ll likely never need to know, but here it is. Lastly, if you were to count every star in the Milky Way galaxy at one per second, it would take you about 3,000 years, which is a fantastic fact if you plan to live for several millennia, but is otherwise completely irrelevant.
